A passion for make-up and hair artistry, together with their long-standing personal and professional friendship led Tamsin and Joceline to collaborate and create The Bucks Make-up Studio.
Using the knowledge and expertise Tamsin and Joceline have gained from over 30 years in the TV, film and theatre industry, they will teach you how to achieve a modern, natural look with make-up and how to choose the best make-up to suit you.
TAMSIN BARBOSA
A well-respected make-up and hair artist specialising in film, Tamsin has 30 years experience working on some of the biggest British and Hollywood releases in recent years.
Tamsin has built up an excellent reputation as a precise and highly skilled make-up and hair artist in the film industry, working with numerous celebrated actors including Emily Blunt, Colin Firth, Dame Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, Eva Green, Sir Michael Caine and Daniel Craig.
She has worked on many high profile film productions including Mary Poppins Returns, Star Wars-The Last Jedi, Pirates of the Caribbean, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and both Nanny McPhee films. During her career Tamsin has worked with Oscar-winning directors and make-up designers. Alongside her active industry work on new films, she is also on the BAFTA awards panel.
JOCELINE ANDREWS
Joceline Andrews is a highly acclaimed make-up and hair artist. After discovering a love for hair styling during a three year apprenticeship at leading Mayfair salon, David and Joseph, Joceline enrolled at the Greasepaint School of Make-up to start her professional career.
In the 30 years since she graduated, Joceline has worked as both a make-up and hair artist in for some of the biggest film, television and theatre productions.
Her career started as a wig assistant in the West End, working on productions of My Fair Lady and Crazy for You. Since then, Joceline has worked on well-known television dramas such as The Crown, Misfits and Downton Abbey, whilst her film credits boast the titles of Hollywood hits including Dunkirk, Avengers, IntoThe Woods, The Dark Knight Rises and Inception.
THE IVER MAKE-UP ACADEMY
Alongside their busy careers in film, Tamsin and Joceline are also both tutors at The Iver Make-up Academy based in the heart of Pinewood Studios. It is the leading, industry based, independent training school for make-up, hair and SFX artists.
